Takin' it back to the old school...

Today, one of the girls I play basketball with wore an NKOTB t-shirt.  That's right...it had the pictures of Danny, Joey, Jordan, Jon, and Donnie on it.

Fast forward a couple years...another chic was wearing a B.U.M. Equipment sweatshirt!  Remember those?!?

And as for me...well, I have an Asian high-school boyfriend.  Serious.  Hahaha....and no, I'm not a pedophile.

I'm tired.  I'm tired and lazy.  I'm tired, lazy, and busy.  I'm tired, lazy, busy and an insomniac.  I need help.

All Good Things Must Come To An End...

How sad.  The Billy Blanks Tae-Bo World Training Center is closing tomorrow.  I took my last class there on Monday.  It was my "kick your ass into shape" when I was home.  How am I going to work-off the holiday pounds that I'm gonna gain w/Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's just around the corner?

In other news...I went skydiving in Santa Barbara last weekend.  It was sooooo amazing!!!  I'm totally afraid of heights, but for some reason, when you're up in the plane, and you DON'T see the ground, it's not quite as scary.  Plus, they push you out of the plane so fast that you don't really have time to think about it and actually GET scared.

I'm in my last 2 weeks of my Ambulatory Care rotation.  I've enjoyed most of it, but definitely not all of it.  I love talking to patients.  I swear, I come home everyday with a different funny story.  But I guess I have a hard time w/a couple of my preceptors b/c I don't necessarily see things their way.  Whatever.  On to Critical Care after that.  It's gonna be an entire 180 for me.  Yikes.  Longer days, that's for sure.

Speaking of good things coming to an end...the end of 2006 is quickly approaching.  I'd have to say that 2006 has been a good year.  Full of new, exciting experiences and new, exciting people.  I'm curious to see what 2007 has in store...

There she rolls!!!

How embarrassing.  Today, I was going to lunch w/Julie and as I was walking down the stairwell, I slipped.  And to avoid knocking Julie over too, I did this head roll over my shoulder and ended up rolling down the stairs!!  There were at least 8 steps that I rolled down.  I think I actually bounced on my hip and then started rolling.  But all the while, I kept my dignity.  I was wearing a skirt, and I kept my legs closed the entire time.  It's funny how your body just knows how to react in those situations:  I start to slip and automatically, my body tries to avoid knocking Julie down and simultaneously remembers that I'm wearing a skirt and to keep my legs shut to avoid unnecessary flashing.  About 3 other people saw...they probably thought I was a clutz.  I've always known that I'm clumsy, but this solidified it.  Hahaha!!!

Went shopping.  Went crazy.  But they were awesome deals!!!  Jeremy's - it's like Nordstrom Rack, but w/designer clothes.  I got a Marc Jacobs sweater for $34, there were tons of Miss Sixty jeans, Joe's jeans, etc. for like $40!!  I'm a bargain shopper, yes indeed!

The Fairmont...a little over-rated if you ask me.

I still don't know what to be for Halloween.  I'm not one for dressing up.  Plus, I'm a cheap-ass, so I don't want to spend a lot of money.  Any suggestions?

Have you ever met someone and just been in awe?  Like, how do they have it all figured out?  Lucky bastards.
